The Sustainable Tourism Community will present some of the tools and the experiences of our Interreg MED Projects at different events at European and national level :
· On 20th October 2020 we will participate in a workshop at the European Week of Regions and Cities co-organized with the Interreg MED Urban Transports Community about “Sustainable Mobility in Tourist Destinations”. · On 13th October we are going to participate in the “Forum TourisTIC”, at the workshop “Tools for Thinning Tourist Density and Promoting Off-Season Tourism in the Mediterranean” 12:15-12:50. Registration here.
· On 12th October we will present our community main outcomes in a closed-doors thematic workshop on “Greener Holidays” organized in the framework of the “European Tourism Convention” by the European Commission. The Convention will launch a dialogue on sustainable recovery and the strategic orientations for the tourism of tomorrow and guide future work and cooperation on tourism (towards a European Agenda for Tourism 2050).
· Finally, on 11th November we will participate in the round table“Best Practices in the Development of Smart Tourism Dimensions from Management Perspectives”in the “CETT Smart Tourism Congress” in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain), an international congress gathering academics and professionals, focusing on innovation, sustainability, technology and governance, organized by CETT – Barcelona School of Tourism., Hospitality and Gastronomy. “
