The purpose of this report is to present a bibliographical summary of previous reports, studies and national strategies drawn up on climate change and Tunisian coastal zones. It presents the characteristics of Tunisia’s coastal zones, the pressures and repercussions of the phenomenon of climate change to which they are subjected and the experience that the country has in managing these areas in terms of adaptation to climate change.
It is part of the regional project « Integrating Climate Variability and Change (CVC) into National ICZM Strategies » (ClimVar), a complementary project to the MedPartnership led by UNEP/MAP and funded mainly by the Global Environment Facility (GEF).
