Plan Bleu participated in the kick-off meeting of the WaterLANDS project that took place on 13th and 14th January. In the framework of the H2020 Green Deal WaterLANDS project, Plan Bleu, as a partner of the project, took part in the virtual kick off meeting which gathered 86 people from the 32 partner organisations involved in the project. This two-day meeting saw many fruitful exchanges between partners and allowed the various organisations to kick start the main activities of the project.
WaterLANDS ambition is to restore 10,500 ha of degraded wetlands sites across Europe that have been damaged by human activity and to lay the foundations for upscaling protection and restoration across more areas.
Plan Bleu will lead Work Tasks within WP3 focusing on Aligning Governance and within WP7 on Communications & Outreach.
