The Biodiversity Protection Community featured by the PANACeA project, co-financed by the Interreg MED programme, organized in collaboration with Région Sud a knowledge sharing workshop on “ Transferring ecosystem-based management tools: increasing regional capacities” that was held in Marseille, on 23 October 2018 from 14.30 to 17.30.
The aim of the meeting was to present the main results and tools of the MED Biodiversity Protection Community composed by 11 modular projects and PANACeA, which are targeting various environmental Mediterranean challenges: marine litter, Posidonia beaches, small-scale fisheries, management and monitoring of protected areas, governance in wetlands, climate change adaptation, etc.
As a PANACeA partner, Plan Bleu presented the ecosystem-based management tools developed by the Community.
