Interreg Med projects organized the Webinar “Greening your event” on 10th July 2018 in order to foster the knowledge exchange and sustainable practices towards more environmentally friendly events.
Many meetings, workshops and seminars are organized in the framework of Interreg Med projects, gathering many stakeholders from diverse countries. Those events have an impact on the environment, involving choices affecting from food to accommodation to transports.
- How to reduce event ecological impact?
- How to raise awareness and train participants to the best practices?
This webinar helped answer these questions and share best practices in terms of food and catering, resources and waste, energy consumption, housing, transportation, and the local economy and participation.
