Conference –19 November 2021
On 19 November 2021, Plan Bleu is co-organising with the partners of the Interreg Med Blue Growth project in the framework of the MedaWeek in Barcelona, the mid-term conference of the community to present the main results of the MED projects to the Mediterranean private sector. The second phase of the Blue Growth Community was launched almost two years ago. Many activities of capitalisation, transfer and mainstreaming of the tools produced by the community in the blue economy sector have been implemented. During this conference, several beneficiaries of these tools produced by the Blue Growth Community, notably from the private sector, will share their experiences and feedback on their implementation and the benefits they have gained.
This is a crucial time for the community, given the current transition to the next Interreg Euro-MED programme and the recent publication of the European Commission’s Communication on a new approach for a sustainable blue economy in the EU – Transforming the EU blue economy for a sustainable future.. On this occasion, the Blue Growth community will propose courses of action and recommendations for achieving these objectives in the Mediterranean region.
