On March 3-4, 2026, the partners of the ARTEMIS project, funded by the Interreg Euro-MED program, met in Santa Teresa Gallura, Sardinia (Italy) for two days of work focused on monitoring ecological restoration activities and reviewing the progress of the project deliverables.
Plan Bleu was represented by Arnaud Terrisse, Biodiversity Programme Officer, and Samson Bellières, Green and Blue Transition Officer. Together with the MEDSEA Foundation, they co-led the working sessions gathering the entire consortium.
Discussions focused on reviewing the restoration activities carried out at the project’s pilot sites in Sardinia, Greece, Menorca, and Monfalcone, as well as on preparing the final deliverables and associated policy recommendations.
The Plan Bleu Observatory also presented updates on the dissemination of project results, including static and interactive mapping tools designed to facilitate knowledge sharing and support decision-making.
The two-day meeting concluded with a field visit to the Capo Testa – Punta Falcone Marine Protected Area, a site notable for its marine and coastal biodiversity.
The consortium will meet again in June in Ciutadella, Menorca (Spain) for the ARTEMIS Final Conference.
