Proposal of Mediterranean conceptual framework for coastal observation

The regional conceptual framework proposes guidelines on how to frame the harvesting and identification of data providers in order to follow and measure the status and the evolution of coastal zones at regional level. As a consequence, the definition of the framework must consider the existence of the existing systems managed by theUNEP/MAP RACs in order to gather socio-economic and environmental information for the coastal zone indicators but also to use their respective indicators in a synergic approach (link with deliverable 1 on parameters to monitor good environmental status of coastal zone).
