Plan Bleu organized a day of discussions with a delegation of Algerian representatives

On Friday May 12, Plan Bleu welcomed to its premises in Marseille an Algerian delegation with representatives of the Algerian Ministry of the Environment and Renewable Energies, National Parks, the National Commission for the Littoral and the Skikda, Oran and Ain Témouchent wilayas. .

The day entitled “Making the Mediterranean an area of ​​cooperation for sustainable development” was led by Gloria Lázaro, Program Officer at Plan Bleu. The entire Plan Bleu team as well as the SMILO association , the network of managers of marine protected areas in the Mediterranean (MedPAN), and Parc marin de la côte bleue took part in this day of discussions.

This event is part of the study trip of the project “Protection of the Environment and Biodiversity of the Algerian Coast” (PEBLA) whose objective is to strengthen the implementation of integrated management of coastal zones. , the protection of the environment and the biodiversity of the Algerian coast.

The event, which brought together around twenty participants, was crowned with success thanks to the fruitful discussions throughout the day. Plan Bleu warmly thanks all the participants of the day.
