As part of the NaTour4CChange, project, a workshop dedicated to marketing strategy and communication planning for climate action was held in Nice, focusing on the Cap Ferrat pilot site. Organized by Emilie Giraut (Blossom Territoires), the workshop brought together a wide range of local stakeholders.
Participants included tourism offices, hotel representatives, diving centers, the Metropolitan Tourism Committee, representatives from the municipality of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, and managers of the Marine Protected Area (MPA).
Towards a shared strategy for sustainable tourism
The workshop laid the foundations for a common narrative and a collective voice for the Cap Ferrat Marine Protected Area. It also helped identify priority target audiences and the behavioral changes needed to better align tourism activities with the preservation of marine ecosystems.
In addition, participants defined key messages tailored to each audience and identified the most relevant communication channels.
By fostering dialogue among local stakeholders, this workshop represents an important step toward a shared vision and stronger collective engagement in promoting more sustainable and environmentally responsible tourism.
