Plan Bleu is in charge of the assessment of the socio-economic values of goods and services provided by Mediterranean forest ecosystems (project’s second component) and the implementation of participatory governance approaches for the multifunctional management of Mediterranean woodland areas (third component). Both of these components are implemented in the following pilot sites: Chrea National park in Algeria,  Jabal Moussa Biosphere reserve in Lebanon, Maâmora forest  in Morocco, the Barbara watershed in Tunisia, and Düzlerçami forest in Türkiye.

This final workshop aimed at restituting, sharing and discussing the final results of the different studies conducted in these pilot sites. This event gathered the partner countries’ focal points, the thematic experts, the national and regional experts, and the FAO forestry experts involved in these activities. It was also an opportunity for sharing and exchanging experiences and final results of each studied site, as well as pursuing reflections in terms of sustainable management of wooded ecosystems’ goods and services.
