Towards a sustainable development of marine renewable energy in the Mediterranean

The report “Towards a sustainable development of marine renewable energies in the Mediterranean” was produced in the framework of the Interreg Med blue growth community, led by Plan Bleu.

It provides an overview of the development of marine renewable energy in the Mediterranean region and presents various existing technologies and practical cases for reconciling biodiversity and the development of marine renewable energy.

It also includes recommendations to encourage and remove obstacles to the development of marine renewable energy in the Mediterranean.

Dr Céline Dubreuil, Plan Bleu’s Director of Programmes, is co-author of the report, with contributions from Eloïse Faure and Arnaud Terrisse.
