{"id":7727,"date":"2013-04-05T17:04:04","date_gmt":"2013-04-05T15:04:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/planbleu.org\/event\/participatory-workshop-on-coastal-management-in-bouches-du-rhone-and-al-hoceima-bay\/"},"modified":"2020-06-02T19:49:07","modified_gmt":"2020-06-02T17:49:07","slug":"participatory-workshop-on-coastal-management-in-bouches-du-rhone-and-al-hoceima-bay","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/planbleu.org\/en\/event\/participatory-workshop-on-coastal-management-in-bouches-du-rhone-and-al-hoceima-bay\/","title":{"rendered":"Participatory workshop on coastal management in Bouches-du-Rh\u00f4ne and Al Hoceima Bay"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Marseille, 11 February 2013: participatory workshop to share experiences and debate of the work done so far in Bouches-du-Rh\u00f4ne and Al Hoceima Bay pilot cases.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In the framework of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pegasoproject.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.pegasoproject.eu\">PEGASO project<\/a>, Plan Bleu,<a href=\"http:\/\/wwz.ifremer.fr\/institut\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/wwz.ifremer.fr\/institut\">Ifremer<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tourduvalat.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.tourduvalat.org\/\">Tour du Valat<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaurmc.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.eaurmc.fr\">Rh\u00f4ne Mediterranean and Corsica Water Agency<\/a> in collaboration with the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.um5a.ac.ma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.um5a.ac.ma\/\">University Mohammed V-Rabat Agdal<\/a>, organised a participatory workshop to share experiences and debate of the work done so far in Bouches-du-Rh\u00f4ne (France) and Al Hoceima Bay (Morocco) pilot cases.<\/p>\n<p>This workshop was held in Marseilles, on 11th February 2013 and benefited of the active participation from a group of local coastal managers and stakeholders working in Bouches-du-Rh\u00f4ne.<\/p>\n<p>The tools developed within the PEGASO project and their implementation in the \u201ccollaborative application sites\u201d (CASES) were presented: indicators, environmental and territorial diagnosis, land and environmental accounting (LEAC), participatory and local scenarios.<\/p>\n<p>Interactions with local stakeholders allowed a better understanding of management tools they use every day, raising prospects towards future implementation at local level of the \u201cPEGASO integrated toolbox\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This workshop allowed also highlighting the progress of the studies carried out in the CASES, as well as several points for improvement in the coming months. A 2nd participatory workshop will be organised by the end of 2013 to present and debate the final results of the case studies.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pegasoproject.eu\/\"
