As part of the 24th Conference of the Parties to the Barcelona Convention (BC COP 24), Plan Bleu is co-organizing, alongside\u00a0 the European Topic Centre on Spatial Analysis and Synthesis (ETC-UMA)\u00a0 and partners from the Natural Heritage Community of the Interreg Euro-MED programme, a side event dedicated to accelerating restoration action of forests and wetlands across the Mediterranean region.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amid growing climate, water, and human pressures, ecological restoration represents a key lever to enhance the resilience of Mediterranean territories. This side event will showcase technical mitigation solutions, proven restoration practices, and participatory governance approaches developed within the Interreg Euro-Mediterranean community to support policymakers and facilitate the implementation of public policies.<\/span><\/p>\n
