(Paris time). This event follows up on the<strong> call for scientific papers <\/strong>launched at the end of 2024, which aimed to gather academic and technical contributions on the challenges and opportunities related to desalination in the region. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The objective of the workshop is to present the results of the selected papers, encourage exchanges between researchers, water experts, and institutional stakeholders, and lay the groundwork for a structured dialogue around sustainable desalination approaches and integrated water management. The event will also serve as an opportunity to introduce a forthcoming collective edited volume, to be published at the end of the year, compiling the main contributions received. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The workshop program will focus on four main themes :<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Global and environmental issues related to desalination<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Economic models and sustainable development<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Governance and regulatory tools<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Integrated approaches that consider social and territorial dimensions\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The event is open to anyone interested in sustainable water resource management in the Mediterranean \u2014 including professionals, researchers, institutional representatives, and students.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/us06web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_nlqnkZyuTCmCjWkvoTm_oQ\">Register now<\/a> <\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":28157,"template":"","tags":[],"pb_tags":[],"class_list":["post-28156","event","type-event","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.1 -
